— Promotional Video for the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2026

The 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) will be held in July 2026 in Shanghai, China. The event is organized under the guidance of the China Association for Science and Technology and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, co-hosted by the Chinese Mathematical Society and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and will be undertaken by Shanghai High School.

At the closing ceremony of the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), held on July 19, 2025, in Australia, the IMO flag was officially handed over from the Australian team to the Chinese team. During the ceremony, the promotional video for the 67th IMO was presented.

The video highlights the youthful energy of China, the inclusiveness of Shanghai, and the Eastern aesthetics of mathematics. In 2026, we look forward to meeting you — in China, in Shanghai, at Shanghai High School, a campus brimming with the charm of mathematics.
