Shanghai Fish, located in the center of Fengxian New City in Fengxian District, Shanghai, was designed by Larry Heber. Inspired by the Chinese cultural symbolism of "fish" as a sign of prosperity and good fortune, the project was created in the style of an earth sculpture. The overall structure resembles a goldfish, with the inner lake, Jinhai Lake, being the second-largest man-made lake in Shanghai.
The area features several attractions, including Fengxian Museum, Fengxian Planning and Resources Exhibition Hall, Nianfeng Park, Pao Pao Park, Fengxian Sculpture Park, and the Youth Art Park.
